Claims Extension — Privacy Notice

What it is. Claims Form Filler is an optional browser extension for MedConcierge. It fills claim information you have already entered in MedConcierge into the Medavie Blue Cross provider portal, for Interim Federal Health Program (IFHP) claims. It is not required to use MedConcierge.

You direct the transfer. You choose which claim to transfer, and you review and submit the resulting form to Medavie Blue Cross yourself, as part of your own billing obligations. The extension does not submit anything on your behalf.

What it handles. When you transfer a claim, the extension works with the patient's name, IFHP member identifier, service date, diagnosis code, and service codes, together with the account credential that links it to MedConcierge.

Where that information lives. On your own computer, in your browser's local extension storage. It is not synchronized to Google, to us, or to any of your other devices. Your device's clipboard is used to initiate a transfer.

How long it is kept. Until you clear the form, until you disconnect your MedConcierge account from the extension, or automatically after a period of inactivity — whichever comes first.

Who it is shared with. No one. The extension communicates only with MedConcierge, and only to verify your account and retrieve the claim you requested. It contains no analytics or tracking, transmits no information to third parties, and accesses no websites other than the Blue Cross claim-submission page it fills.

Your controls. You can disconnect the extension at any time from within the extension, revoke its access from Settings in MedConcierge, or uninstall it. Revoking access immediately stops every copy of the extension using that credential.
